This is my prayer, but we were looking at the storm at over 7k ft and this was a long track tornado. I'm thinking this was likely an EF-3, still sparing the worst of things but still causing catastrophic damage considering the location.

I've been hearing TDS heights at city impact were 15-20kft which correlates to high EF3-EF4+, but that's not a hard and fast rule especially so far from radar; morning light will tell
 
That's at least four separate supercells producing large and damaging tornadoes... the Moderate Risk that seemed slight overkill with convective uncertainties was more than justified as was the eastern PDS. Kudos to SPC.
 
I'm not hearing reports of SERIOUS injuries at least not on a regular basis. Looking at the type and quality of homes in one of the hardest hit areas with the most dispatch calls, if this was anything over a 3 I'd expect many more reports of serious injuries.

Also, the damage seems confined to an area smaller than you'd see in your typical large, violent tornado.
 
Yeah that seems to be the case. Either way, wild to be able to see a tornado like this that late at night.
 
I just want to say, I'm really glad you all are here. I've never really had any friends that care even moderately about weather, tornadoes, and the like, and I really appreciate having you all to talk to. Even moreso, this has been exaggerated by tonight. It's odd that I'm getting a bit emotional, but I feel a certain kinship at witnessing this event with others.
