I mean... I know these are softwoods and all but it looks like MAYBE they could have gone EF3? There is clearly some lower-end debarking in the first photo.

BMX rated a 3/25 tornado EF3 for tree damage at that level or a little less impressive, really wonder why they didn't go higher on that

Yeah the precedent at BMX for 100% pine snapping in a broad swath has usually been 140ish on multiple occasions so I hope that's considered for a potential increase at some point

Do you have a picture of the damage they rated EF3?
They’re on the DAT. Was based on a brick home sustaining total roof and exterior wall loss, and a more poorly-built CMU foundation home that was completely swept away across the street.

NWS Baltimore/Washington confirmed two brief EF0 tornadoes in Fairfax Co. on Thursday.

Brings it perfectly into line with the 3/25 tornadoes last year in regards to tree damage, awesome to see.
