Severe WX March 29-30, 2022 Severe Event

The main storm one looks very scary but these little cells starting to pop up in front of the mainline on the MS/AL state one really have me worried. My mother is right on the state line in Mississippi and she said the local meteorologist was mentioning those individual cells as well. Do you have to wonder if they have enough juice in the atmosphere to produce anything

I was noticing those cells too. I honestly wasn't expecting the discrete activity ahead of the line to look quite that impressive today. Absolutely worth keeping a close eye on.

As has been noted by people way smarter than me the low dews may certainly enhance damaging wind along the strongly forced line due to negative buoyancy strongly favoring downdrafts as the line draws closer, but for isolated cells out ahead, I'd imagine said very limited low level moisture would keep them quite elevated, seeing as they're traveling north with surface flow; they might be capable of downbursts regardless but despite the extremely powerful wind fields I would think tornado threat with the cells around GWX would remain low unless they can take root; if any of these cells hooks to the NE, watch out

While those discrete cells definitely have that look, I'm not seeing strong rotation on velocity. However I'm seeing THREE likely QLCS tornadoes moving into Whiteville, TN!

NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK

Areas affected...Eastern/northeastern Mississippi and far western
Alabama.

Concerning...Tornado Watch 77...80...

Valid 302259Z - 310030Z

The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 77, 80 continues.

SUMMARY...The damaging wind and tornado threat continues from a line
of storms with embedded supercells.

DISCUSSION...The nature of the line has changed a bit over the past
1 to 2 hours with a less cohesive QLCS and a more embedded cellular
structure. Each of the tornado warnings and more sustained low-level
circulations are associated with taller cores and reflectivity
structures resembling embedded supercells. This change in nature of
the line and a favorable low-level shear environment (0-1 km SRH in
excess of 300 m2/s2 per KGWX VWP) may lead to an increase in tornado
productivity for the next hour or two. Dewpoints are lower across
Alabama, but some low-level moisture increase is expected, and the
environment remains favorable for tornadoes through the evening and
into the overnight hours.

Yeah no doubt. Likely tornado moving into Roseland, LA. The southern area of the the threat has been the spot people have been most concerned about regarding strong tornadoes.
