Severe WX March 23-25th, 2023

Is this confirmed on the ground or just rotating

Might be the same segment of the line that absorbed the supercell earlier; line orientation and surface winds are pretty dangerous so this one could be worth watching

Does not appear to be on the ground, but could tighten up at any point

It's not, it's definitely a vehicle. You can see it at 3:00:55 in the Texas Storm chasers live. Talked to Adam and it could have been nothing else at that distance. They initially thought it was a drone, but way too far away for that.

I know, I'm the contrarian, but I'm skeptical that it's a vehicle. It very well could've been, but looked out of place IMO.

I would be interested in other video at a different angle during from the same timeframe.

WTVA had a reporter trying to get into Amory on their stream, lots of debris still in the road and difficult to access it seems
Seems like a lot reports are from downtown and a bit southeast.

Probably the outer edge of the tornado looked like the most devastating just based on radar hit on the north and northwest side of amory

Actually looking the Piggly wiggly is on the Northside. That's where supposedly they're setting up. Oh well, I pray for the first responders and victims I hope the images arent devasting when I wake up tommorow

You're right. The supercell is embedded within the line and still alive. Looping back through radar, it maintained itself through the line merger.

Sounds like there's a lot of damage in Amory and there is also some damage going up towards Smithville. I don't think we're gonna hear much until day break. Still trying to find out any information about an Aunt that is elderly and lives by her self and Amory. My nephews that live there are OK, but have window, roof and tree damage at their home. I'm really worried about the rest of my friends who live there. I have a lot of friends and that town.

I know there are some mixed and polarized opinions on Ryan Hall(especially one prominent member on here*eye roll*), but him raising money on his live stream to go to the affected areas is amazing
Yes, and all of that donated money gets into some needy person's hands instead of being squandered on an 'executive staff' and opulent offices. Whatever you may think of his skills and style, he's gotten more people interested in severe weather than anyone else I know (including Spann and Timmer) and that can only be a good thing for the people in general. I glanced at his channel a few times tonight but I'm no longer a "regular" there, preferring to monitor this forum and the good folks here instead.
