In what neighborhood? We had a place down that way for 20 years. And I still know a lot of people down that way.

Has anybody got info or damage photos from the Lacombe/Mandeville, LA area? Judging by radar, the tornado may have been just as intense as one in New Orleans.

The area it hit looks like it’s mostly bayou and forest, and the signature looked pretty narrow, so it might not have hit very much.

Edit: Yeah seeing multiple reports of trees downed in that area, but that's it so far.

Went several miles NW of mom's apartment but looks to have hit some areas I know pretty well; saw my first tornado in Summerdale back in 2017 ironically, east of the highway, this one looks to have been west of the highway,

Unrelated to the event ongoing right now but the Granger TX tornado from yesterday appears to have gotten a prelim HE EF2 rating.

That one slabbed a house. They need to at least bump it to EF3.
