Archive Former Major Hurricane Irma

If you know anyone in the track of Irma, please invite them to join us and keep us update to date on the conditions at their location. We have a special user tag for them if they just let an admin know their location.
 
Is it my imagination or is it moving more east of the NHC predicted track?
 
Ugh... Looters in Fort Lauderdale today.
 
Made the decision to stay behind. Winds are really picking up here; surprised I still have power at this point. To think it isn't even at its worst yet...

I wanted to try to get video of this as it happens; watching the winds whip through the rain is really a remarkable sight. But I am not opening the front door in these conditions! Rain is lashing against the windows, and the wind has been making audible howls like a whistle.

Not worth the risk of opening pandora's door :-) However, would like to hear some audio of what you hearing!
