I'm not a model guru but I think it is running now.

Looks like she's taking that jog to the East. Amazing with her size, that she can make that sharp turn. Of course, Katrina was supposed to turn, too ...then go into Panhandle. Three days later ... <sigh>

I am thinking the same exact thing. That storm is HUGE...and I just don't see it making that sharp of a turn that quickly.

I'm hoping a more eastern track verifies, but we have been going back and forth with the timing of the turn for days. Hopefully we see the same thing on the next run and not a shift back to the west.

I see the eastward shift is continuing. That cluster of models around the Charleston area would be disastrous however.

I have a grandmother that lives in Cocoa Florida, I have been thinking about driving down there and getting her until it blows over... its 600+ miles one way from here..This easterly track has me hesitating...

That's what I'm afraid of. People will be seeing the changes and not leave, then it doesn't verify. Plan for the worst, hope for the best.

Nothing set in stone yet. Just have to keep watching the model runs and forecast tracks. It changes with each one.
