Severe WX April 4th-6th, 2022 Severe Weather Threat

The remnants of that supercell that produced between Troy and Union Springs is tightening up again, might be another tornado developing on it...

Edit: Appears to be a surge of RFD on the latest scan.

Radar signature did look slightly more impressive than that similar pre-QLCS discrete storm last week across C Alabama... This tornado could definitely be rated as intense if it hit anything. Hopefully it didn't.

New D2 expanded southwards for winds. TOR probs remain 5%.

I used to drive through that area a lot and that's the absolute middle of nowhere, so hopefully this doesn't hold together long enough to reach any populated areas.

That circulation was impressive as it passed north of Butler and might have been on the ground, but it doesn't look very impressive now. It's going to be a close call for Roberta, which is one of the few substantial towns in that area, so hopefully it doesn't decide to tighten back up, especially since it looks like it'll move into the Macon metro area.
