An isolated supercell popped up in SC KS and eventually gained tornadic status in Western Chase County. It had 4 confirmed tornadoes in Chase County. We intercepted it in Eastern Chase/Western Lyon County. I am generally not a fan of chasing at night, but an isolated cell in a road network that...

That is just insane how that small building to the northeast of the gymnasium survived. There looks like there is even circular marks from the tornado right next to that small building. Multiple vortices are just mind blowing.

Just leaving our television coverage area. The storm has picked up intensity as it moves north east right on the Milam county border just north of Hicks.

Hold on…the nws confirmed ef3 damage in Shawnee…but the wiki page has its full stats…from somewhere..and it’s listed as an ef2…weird…..

Well, I actually saw storms so I would say it did! Although, tornadoes just weren't in the cards today for some reason. Storms were too cluster-y and always had another cell raining into their inflow.

Well they had on there page about the event…that they had confirmed ef3 damage to a university building and several large poles…I guess that wasn’t supposed to be like that

They survey page for this event has been a mess so far. They attributed EF2 damage to the Bethel Acres tornado, when the photo of the unroofed house was actually taken near the beginning of the Shawnee path, and Bethel Acres hasn't been surveyed yet. They also called the metal power pole damage near Shawnee EF3, even though the tornado has been rated EF2. Somebody at OUN needs to get it together.

Yeah, I saw that from earlier. I just checked and they removed the EF3 rating.
