Obviously nothing on the scale of these two events as a whole, but just the reflectivity presentation of the tandem supercells reminds me of the Henryville, IN EF4-producer and its trailing cell from March 2012, or the lead cell and the cell that eventually took over and became the Tuscaloosa etc storm on 4/27.
*Edit: Western one appears to be turning more right, reflectivity continues to look very impressive but nothing obvious on velocity at this time.

Interesting...velocity and CC did not suggest such, but then again radar isn't always perfect.

Increasing convergence signature on cell North of Little Rock, something to watch.
And it's right over some of the same areas that got hammered on 4/25/2011 and 4/27/2014, too...

so what is causing these storms to struggle to get anything more than broad rotation?
Would be hard to tell without some thorough, VORTEX-esque data documentation and study, unfortunately.
