For some reason, when using TW on my phone it doesn’t allow me to embed photos like normal (all the buttons for editing posts are greyed out) - it only allows me to post it as an attachment. Don’t really know why.Unfortunately, the pic isn't showing up for me.
I got it pulled up that way. And yeah, that sounding looks nasty indeed. If you click on it, it'll immediately download on your computer and you can see it. At least that's how it is for me.
Yeah that day 1 was… and they mention no other threat until eveningReally surprised at how conservative the SPC is being with this event.
Yeah, I thought so too.I got it pulled up that way. And yeah, that sounding looks nasty indeed.
I assume they’re seeing something we aren’t. Plains set ups are notoriously mercurial.Really surprised at how conservative the SPC is being with this event.
Is the 68.0°F red lines the temperature and the 65.0°F green lines the dewpoint? That is in the model.I got it pulled up that way. And yeah, that sounding looks nasty indeed.

Plains setup is just little different they have their onI assume they’re seeing something we aren’t. Plains set ups are notoriously mercurial.
They're not being conservative though, look at the wording. There very well may be only 4 supercells across the whole risk area. It's not like this is forecasted to be a huge outbreak in terms of numerous cells. Like they say, widely scattered intense supercells, with a strong tornado or two, and that threat is still conditional. IMO no reason to upgrade.Really surprised at how conservative the SPC is being with this event.
Welcome!Hi, first post here. Been watching these threads for a while...
But yeah, the SPC seems to be a little more conservative with the risk today than tomorrow. I really wonder why that is.
Tornadoes in mid south do t play by the rules .lol bout like DixieWelcome!
I would be pretty surprised if we only get one or two strong tornadoes at this point, but I guess we will see. They're not being conservative though, look at the wording.
