Severe WX May 2019 Plains Severe Event

At this point, I'd just be grateful to avoid double-digit fatalities.

To be fair it DID show signs of weakening and beginning to cycle only to flare back up on the next scan. Fluctuating but 100% still down

Yeah, I was wishcasting a bit. It's back to looking just as violent as it did before.

Trust me, I'm with you 100%. I was thinking/hoping for the same thing and then saw that next scan. :(

Don't look now but the cell behind this one is getting that dangerous look too. Historic night in Indiana and Ohio.

Definitely attempting to occlude, but a cell this violent and complex that's not saying much

Sounds like police have blocked off roads into Celina from the other storm and there's some pretty serious damage there according to local news. They're also reporting damage to homes and power lines down in Ludlow Falls from that tornado.

Cell behind is no doubt improving rapidly, and looks to put down another tornado right over or very near places that experienced this first violent tornado!

I was just thinking an hour ago seeing the small TDS signatures in Indiana that we had mostly gotten lucky recently with significant tornadoes largely missing heavily populated areas this month except for El Reno/Jeffferson City and a couple others, but that luck was all used up over a horrifying half hour or so

This is bad, bad, bad. There were multiple scans w/debris lofted to > 20kft. Didn't get the ∆v but I did see a number of bins well over 100kts when the velocity signature was at its strongest.
