Didn’t take long for those to blow up and start rotating. I’m scared of what will happen when things finally initiate in SW OK.
The 1947 Windsor, ON (which was probably an F5) was a rope for most of its life cycle. The 1990 Plainfield, IL was a rain-wrapped rope or elephant trunk. So there certainly is precedent for an F5/EF5 rope. That being said, it's extremely rare.I know this a little off topic but can you get extremely intense rope EF5 tornadoes on a day like today? I know it would be more likely there going to be wedge EF5 tornadoes.

That warned storm in western OK is moving right along the boundary.
Supercells trying to initiate all over Western OK. Not sure if it is capping or what, but something keeps preventing these storms from breaking through. But when they do...
