I'd be very surprised, but it might provide enough energy to throw out some snow showers as it moves east. The big energy has left it though. Unless something really weird happens, it won't amount to much.

Might not be accurate but I show 33 in east Jeff County. Its been dropping the past few hours.

Not to derail, but I love the cherrypicked data and the blue arrows that mean pretty much nothing in this tweet. There's mountains of primary literature and data showing that anthropogenic climate change is undeniable at this point, and there's even primary literature showing that the oscillatory nature of the Sun's power output (roughly 1361 W/m2 right now but consistently oscillating) has pretty much zero contribution to the general warming trend. "Entering into a mini ice age?" What in the world does this individual even mean by that?

This tweet is garbage. I'm not going to hold my tongue on it either. Just because it gets cold during the winter still in North America doesn't mean climate change is a hoax. If anyone wants to talk to me about this, DMs would be the best place.

precip has stopped here entirely - you still getting some there in Cullman? I was hopeful things were ending and drying out.

It will be interesting to see if the NWS offices in Huntsville and Birmingham stick with a Cold Weather Advisory or upgrade their counties to an Extreme Cold Warning tomorrow.

Yeah I posted it and afterward saw .. I don’t get involved in that debate so definitely wouldn’t have if I saw.

He’s not wrong about magnetic field and such weakening. Will give that credit. Read a scientific article on that today.

Funny that they used the French version of an ECMWF run. One expects they didn't have permission to attach their nonsense to THAT. :D
