Oh absolutely. Tri State is definitely up there. I was just referring to tornadoes that have happened in more recent times. But if we go back even further, you could argue that Tri State and New Richmond 100% belong in that class.

You're welcome. You know. To be honest, I've never been asked to do a legit sit down TV interview about it from both the meteorological/personal perspective. Yeah, there was What Stands In A Storm then the Storm Stories episode. That's something I would love to be able to do at some point.

I took a ton of photos in the moments after, but never really put them into a PowerPoint. I need to make a 4/27 PowerPoint. I did a little one just on the total number of watches/warnings issued and just the basic overview.

And I'll add that the Tornado Archive has been similarly working like crap for me for the past couple of weeks. Not only do I keep getting bombarded with Cloudflare, but a lot of tornadoes just flat out won't show up in the Data Explorer.

What specific issues are you seeing? We were forced to implement Cloudflare by our server provider after we were essentially DDoS'd from someone sending too many data download requests.

No, this shows when you pull up the website and input “2025”, it’s completely public. Y’all might want to do something about that; it might be part of the Cloudflare errors.

There was a mix-up in scripts between the main (publicly visible) and dev (internal development) branches, unrelated to Cloudflare. It's being worked on, thanks!

The damage at the heinz plant could be its own post some point in the future so I wont go into it now.

I knew something was up when the Diaz path and anything past March 15 was non-existent; y'all also never release the yearly updates the year of. Thanks for the work regardless!

I was having an issue where I'd type in a date range or a year, and the page would just get stuck in a perpetual loading loop. I'd refresh the page, and the date range would show, but only seemingly random tornadoes from the specified timeframe. Also, I could put "Europe" or "Global" and no tornadoes would show on the map at all, regardless of how many times I refreshed the page.

Anyhow, it seems to be working better as of last night. Thanks for your concern, though!

Not gonna blame Tornado Archive for the Cloudflare cancer. It just sucks that between AWS and Cloudflare, a good chunk of the internet can be rendered unusable by a simple outage, like we saw last month.
 
Found some new tri-state photos in Gorham. First one may finally be showing torn up rail tracks, as reported they are indeed standing "upright".

Also check this out, the jail in Gorham was anchored into a concrete foundation in the building that housed it, the brick structure was blown away and the jail cell lofted and crushed.
