Not the toaster!Line hasn't hit me yet... I am on the GA side of the AL/GA border.
Clancy always beats me to the punch when I post new info.... so I give him crap about it. He laughs. I laugh. The toaster laughs. I shoot the toaster. You know... ha
I just read 3 tornadoes hit, at least that is what is known so far. Near Montgomery, Athens, and that place that had a warning last night Im tired and forgot the name even though I live in Alabama and after watching weather coverage forever I should have them all memorizedMorning. Sorry for just disappearing last night. Power went off so I just went to sleep. I see Huntsville NWS did confirm a small tornado hit downtown Athens, AL. Considering the potential this line had for violence, I think Alabama came out pretty OK. (Of course, I haven't seen everything yet.)
Definitely going to move to #3 past 2008 for confirmed tornadoes in a year.43 tornado reports from yesterday thus far.

I haven’t seen any damage from this outbreak thus far that would lead me to believe anything higher than low end EF3, so that is very surprising. Considering the strength of the velocities on that storm though, it makes senseAlready the port Arthur tornado has been rated a high end EF3…
Surprising
Where is this info from?Franklin County, MS (Bude) tornado will be at least a EF-2, with a possibility upgrade to EF-3, pending further investigation of a couple of buildings and debris.
