Down to 37 at my parents house. Was 44 at 1:40.
Surprised we haven’t seen it yet. The short term models have been very consistent today, yet BMX has stayed conservative, suggesting only “light” bridge/overpass icing in Central Alabama.Well the newest hrrr run. Has it worst than what it's had all day for i20 lol. Pretty much a quart of inch along the interstate.
Id say we may need a extension of the winter storm
Will allow temps to cool quicker if skies clear but really doesn't matter now as arctic front is now bearing downIs clearing skies a bad thing? Down 39 now.
be thankful that it's sleet and not freezing rain!I’ve never experienced sleet like this. Been ongoing for about an hour. Located in Hazel Green AL.

I believe they held in the WSW because the nam and gfs show much less..like .05 of zr in Bham, the hrrr is an outlier. They did expand the elevated area south.
Probably about that time to forget models and watch radar trends. I just hit 32 so the freezing line is advancing south.I believe they held in the WSW because the nam and gfs show much less..like .05 of zr in Bham, the hrrr is an outlier.
