Round one to moisten, round two blizzard leftovers? LOL. Crazy that we're getting ground truth west and east now. Dry slot?

An interesting dry area between, for sure. Has been very persistent. Moisture hits a wall then catches lift off the mountains once east.

Was wondering that myself. Perhaps difference in reported time. Only report the dewpoint so often?

Hard to tell - same problem tracking it as with understanding it, lack of surface data in the Gulf. Looks due east to me on sat, but can be deceiving.

I'm waking up to a friend who texted me about a Blizzard Warning. My first thought was for the Carolina Coast (which is wild, but that I can understand). Not dang SE Texas into Southern Louisiana!

First one on record too
