Now that snow has been compacted and made wet by the wintry mix we've been having, definitely seeing the weight on the trees and large bushes.yep, praying for the power not to go off. Tree limbs are already sagging due to the snowfall
that's likely a heavier band where the dynamic/lifting cooling is just enough to overcome melting by the warm nose that is only getting warmerSeeing some mix again. Surprised to see flakes too. Wind really picking up too.

it would seem the snow is keeping temps down, at least around me. So, I don't think we reach our high. Also, they may cool faster due to residual snow pack.Thoughts on temps tonight? Lots of slush will still be around.
Going into the woods was my first thought this morning! Waited for a good downpour and went up to a clearing by the hill near my house and it's was magicUpdate from north of Madison, south of Harvest. We've got about 5 inches of snow on the ground in clear areas. It's mixing with tiny sleet now. It was 29 degrees all morning but has risen to 31. Took the dogs for a walk in the woods.
The precipitation should move in soon. That'll probably be rain, though some sleet may mix in.I'm in Roebuck area....no precipitation at all since it stopped snowing about 6:30 or so.
I thought we were supposed to get something more?
Can someone please explain?
Be kind please.
i wouldnt bank on it. 40 degrees a few thousand feet off the groundWhat are the chances of some wrap around to dust Tuscaloosa? All rain now and 33.
It appears BMX just dropped the WSW for Tusc & a bunch of other counties. Jeffco is still in it though.i wouldnt bank on it. 40 degrees a few thousand feet off the ground
