Does anyone have any livesteams currently available for the Carolinas/Virginia area?

I’ve not searched (yet) but TWC is staying on the storms pretty well!

That comma head has caused tornado warnings for places north of Athens. UGA hasn't been in the polygon yet. Now we're getting light rain here.
I saw it this morning on the radar and was shocked it wasn't talked about much until the tor warning was issued. There were two comma heads and the one that went over my house was brutal. I'm curious why the SPC didn't issue a severe thunderstorm watch or tornado watch for north ga, especially when they saw the line coming in stronger around 4am than anticipated. Oh well, I just hope everyone was ok and that the eastern seaboard doesn't get too much damage.

I guess this isn’t surprising. Mesoanalysis shows 300+ ESRH across most of NC and over 400 in places on top of 1000-1500 CAPE.

Front just came through. Down to 66 right now.

The shops and restaurants in Commerce, where Brit and I have eaten out a lot on Friday evenings had flooding in their parking lots according to Channel 2.

We’ve got our first warning of the day here in Maryland. Should stay over mostly rural areas but it's about to cross I-70. (Nowhere close to me, it’s not even raining here)

Now I have a tornado warning. Right on the fringe of the polygon. Headed to shelter.

EDIT: never mind, it's going to miss us by a decent margin. The rotation was really weak and I doubt it produced anything.

One thing was I thought was odd about this event was the large Severe Tstorm warning issued for most of southeast Alabama as well as parts of FL, GA. Local news had already stopped their FB Live events because nothing was happening other than the widespread light-moderate rain and gusty winds. Winds in my location were worse throughout the night before these little cells came through. Below is the text/radar images.

The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Dale County in southeastern Alabama...
Henry County in southeastern Alabama...
Southeastern Coffee County in southeastern Alabama...
Geneva County in southeastern Alabama...
Houston County in southeastern Alabama...
Northwestern Jackson County in the Panhandle of Florida...
Northeastern Holmes County in the Panhandle of Florida...
Northwestern Early County in southwestern Georgia...

* Until 645 AM EDT/545 AM CDT/.

* At 555 AM EDT/455 AM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along
a line extending from near Geneva to 8 miles north of Bonifay to
near Cottonwood, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Daleville, Abbeville, Cottonwood, Blakely, Geneva, Enterprise,
Graceville, Headland, Dothan, Fort Rucker, Ozark, Hartford, Taylor,
Midland City, Kinsey, Ashford, Level Plains, Slocomb, Samson and
Cowarts.

Strongest tornado in the entire event was yesterday in VA. There was never a tornado report from the warning I was under btw.
