So,,? Whatbdo this record Elnino mean for the Midwest? This coming week. Another heat wave for the Midwest. West is celebrating heat is moving east. Unfortunately rain along a stationary front once thought to be close. Is going to be shunted much farther north. Some say it lasts for two weeks. Worst heatwave of the Summer!!

Great. I like it cold. Unusual warmth in December? Maybe At least the 80s will be gone here in Southeast Iowa. But the way it’s going. Ya never know

Given how winters typically perform during very strong El Niños, I’m fairly confident that the Midwest will get a very mild winter this year, perhaps more fall-like. The 1997-98 and 2015-16 winters were well above average in terms of temperature for the area. I’m interested to see if we get any severe weather out of it, assuming the winter does end up being very warm.

Bet warm plus Dry. Thought a wet fall was forecast by experts too. With hit dome sitting on us. Unlikely for September. Well maybe Minnesota and Wisconsin in the ring of fire. South of 80. Sounds like a bake for two weeks
