I haven’t seen any evidence of trolling from Grenadines. His comment on cows eating grass doesn’t really fit that criteria at all.

Let’s not hurl insults here, please? This isn’t me trying to straddle the midline and be “holier than thou” or anything, I’m genuinely confused on why this is happening. As far as I can tell there was zero ill intent on Grenadines part throughout the beginning of this interaction.

Also, IMO, asking to ban/strike this individual is honestly ridiculous. Am I missing something here?

Do you not know what a default rating is? Do you not understand the nuance of the rating process, and how lower wind speed estimates due to weak foundations do not equate to a lower actual intensity? Do you not know about the mobile radar readings in Greenfield? Another flaccid, weak attempt at a counter point.

Why? He’s not adding anything thoughtful to the conversation, and is actively causing 3 pages of arguments while having the sense of a 10 yo

Dude, no one is wanting you to get striked because you have an opposing opinion. You are coming off way too egoistical and confident that your claims are so valid and yet you are digging up evidence that doesn’t even make sense as to what you are talking about. Take a step back and show us objectively why you have this opinion, rather than saying we’re all apart of a cult that thinks Rochelle is like the god of all tornadoes, because we don’t.

I am adding to this conversation by critiquing how unreliable ground scouring/tree debarking are, and also I didnt cause any of these arguments, I join them, and also again, I'm 17, stop being such an asshole

Egotistical??? Im not egotistical, and the reason why I say "cult-like" because it seems like yall go out of your way to insult people who have opposing opinions to Rochelle being EF5.

I agree, a ban is too harsh. No matter how repugnant an opinion is, it shouldn’t be silenced. However, this “user” isn’t exactly new here, and I do sense some half hearted argument attempts on their parts. Troll was the wrong word to use.

Also calling me a sock-puppet is not only bad-faithed and has no evidence for even a foundation of suspicion, but its unnecessarily hostile. There's a reason why some people believe this forum is toxic and filled with rude people

Do you seriously think you’re making a good point here? Like seriously? That is not remotely comparable to the mechanics of a tornado. And for the last time, the most telling thing is that deep grass scouring only occurs near very high end structural damage. It doesn’t matter what can happen theoretically. What matters is what statistically happens in real life. Do you not understand how correlation works?

Still waiting on that bombshell counter example by the way

We’ve (YES WE) heard it before and I dont wanna say this again, but tree debarking is mostly caused by debris hitting the tree (ts edgelord thinks this is the only way) and the tree species. The images I sent are hardwood trees debarked in an open field. Did you expect Rochelle to do this. OFC NOT! Rochelle did very little debarking due to tree species and sparsely built homes.

Everyone on this forum is really nice, I’ve been lurking on tw since mid 2024, and have read most of this thread and have only seen 3 major arguments, including this one.
