Panhandle storms appeared to be struggling but the moment I was going to point that out, the panhandle lit up with TORs. STP up to 7 there, things could get nasty.

I wonder if anything is going to develop in the clear area to the east of the main line that has developed. I also wonder if the main line storms are going to start choking each other off as even though they are still cellular the line is filling in. If they manage to stay semi-discrete this is going to be a long evening.

I anticipate at least some limited/scattered flooding issues around north-central Alabama. Torrential rain falling where I am north of Bham.

High Risk has been extended south to Tampa in the latest outlook. They're still expecting dangerous weather this evening.

About to get very hard to see some of these more northern storms in the main cluster with the KVAX radar down. Kinda peeved at the weather service in Jacksonville, who controls the KVAX station, for taking it down for maintenance this week.
