Been without power since 1:30 this afternoon with the first batch of storms. Came on about 30 minutes ago.

Multiple cells now beginning to mature and become tornado warned. Severe Threat probably ramping up properly now. C and S MS as well as possibly E LA might have a long long night.

Storms still having trouble producing properly intense mesocyclones, but still have 6-7 hours before main event is over.

gotta keep an eye on those storms west of jackson, ms. if they were to get their act together, look out. by no means is it a certainty, but model guidance did suggest updraft helicity tracks nearly in line with those cells right now.
