Because Oklahoma is on the western end of Central Time, won’t it be light there until almost 9 PM?
OKC sunset is 8:21 today, so yeah, there should be some light beyond that.

you don’t necessarily need a perfectly spaced environment for tornados to drop, however, storm mode is trying to line out in a way.Can we expect those western storms to stay discrete or can we expect storm mergers.
Really don't think spacing matters tonight. They'll be powerful whether discrete or not. Don't count on losing discreteness = less strong storms...not tonight.Spacing not looking nearly as "good" as it did an hour ago.
Embedded supercells yes - but a more linear mode would dampen the “violent” tornado risk in a wayReally don't think spacing matters tonight. They'll be powerful whether discrete or not. Don't count on losing discreteness = less strong storms...not tonight.
You could be right, but I am not convinced. Long ways to go though.Really don't think spacing matters tonight. They'll be powerful whether discrete or not. Don't count on losing discreteness = less strong storms...not tonight.
