The debris ball is huge on reflectivity now, and it's super rain wrapped - A small silver lining to this is it didn't do this in Huntsville, but it's still doing major damage in semi-populated areas.
EDIT: Not semi-populated actually. It's pretty rural, as of now.

I will forever be puzzled why some METs including James Spann rarely ever use SRV (Storm Relative Velocity) and just swear by using velocity for everything including looking for rotation.

Velocity couplet is diffuse on the latest scan, definitely lifted now, although that tree debris is going to be in the air for a while longer. Looks like a mesocyclone handoff.
And regarding what Reed did, to be fair, they’re in a vehicle that was quite literally built to be inside a tornado. Obviously a gamble on how violent the tornado is. Anyways, when I say that, I couldn’t help but think of this.

I know this probably isn't the time for this, but I'm going to say it anyways. I will forever love James Spann, however, it's gotten to the point where I don't even want to watch his coverage anymore, because dude refuses to put on SRV (he uses Radarscope btw), and it bothers me probably more than it should.
He was surprised to see a debris signature on CC, because the circulation didn't look high enough on *regular* velocity to cause a CC drop. Like dude, just take a look on SRV for once.
