I know this probably isn't the time for this, but I'm going to say it anyways. I will forever love James Spann, however, it's gotten to the point where I don't even want to watch his coverage anymore, because dude refuses to put on SRV (he uses Radarscope btw).

He was surprised to see a debris signature on CC, because the circulation didn't look high enough on *regular* velocity to cause a CC drop. Like dude, just take a look on SRV for once.

I agree, although I have NOTHING to say about the man after what he did during the 2011 outbreak including many others, im not sure what prevents him from using the far better, higher resolution SRV.

Almost looks like a debris ball on the storm south of huntsville on reflectivity just from how the hook echo looks.

No extremely clear signs of imminent tornadogenesis, but very suspicious-looking now south of HSV.

If that’s the worst damage in the area, then that is a relief. Damage is damage, and there’s different levels to it, but those can be replaced. Not trying to downplay the situation, I just like looking on the bright side of things vs. doom.

Unlike what had been modelled, these storms are continuing to move much more east than southeast. I'm worried about any boundaries set up by these northern AL storms that others my ride along later.

As expected, the 0-3 km SRH values have bloated to over 300 m^2/s^2 just ahead of the storms. Not good.
