Looks like a confirmed tornado crossing the Mississippi River from LA into MS as well, according to the latest warning update for that storm

Spann has never mentioned that this current storm had a confirmed tornado with it.

Watching the VWP at GWX, it's remarkable how much the wind profile has improved and continues to improve, now very strong low level shear along the boundary in that area

Congrats! Saw some other chasers reporting on that same area too, hopefully limited damage from that thing if it touched down.

Couplet weakened on next scan but TDS still prominent, meanwhile other couplet to the south near Satartia just intensified although no clear TDS yet.

*Edit* Eh, new warning calls it radar confirmed anyway.

There definitely is a TDS on the newest scan for that other storm you're referring to.

Also, I think we have/had or were at least close to having 3 simultaneous tornadoes in Mississippi (Port Gibson, SW of Yazoo City, and near Eden)

That's almost on the path of the infamous 2010 EF4, too. Storm came up from near Tallulah, LA like that one.

I can't remember where one of the tornadoes from the Easter QLCS last year passed in relation to the city, but yeah, the Yazoo City area keeps taking hits.
