That’s the only way it’s going to produce anything would be through some kind of mesoscale boundary interaction. It’s way too far away from any actual shear

As of right now, it’s not looking that way. Storms would have to travel halfway across the state off the dryline to get into better kinematics. I’ll be interested to see what happens as low level shear picks up.

We've seen plenty of instances where VTPs never verify, and there's lots of convection in front of these storms spawning in Texas that are probably eating up all the good nader juice. However it gives a good idea of areas to watch. The Texas storms certainly look the meanest out of everything (which isn't saying much).
