The Grinnel tornado shows signs of EF4 intensity as it went through town. Granulation and mud pasting, with debarking. Will have to wait to see if any homes were slabbed or not. Definitely an EF3.

I saw a tweet which said 'dead man walking'. Now I understand why

According to the PDS warning, the tornado's forward speed is about 20 knots (23 MPH). That suggests that, assuming that there is indeed a tornado down, then it's more than likely going to be a grinder-type that just hammers away at whatever it hits for what may seem to be an eternity for anyone caught in the vortex. Let's all pray that this thing weakens before it enters the Metroplex!

I’m very interested to see what happens tomorrow. Leaving that environment kinda untapped is going to be interesting for how the storms evolve tomorrow. If mode cooperates it’s gonna be a pretty high ceiling.

Forcing over Oklahoma was nebulous at best, combine that with mid level dry air it’s no surprise. It’s why the NWS never went moderate for the area excluding the northwestern part.

It was looking like it was going to pop off but yea, definitely needed that moisture return to advect a little in the mid levels too.

Couplet is definitely starting to tighten up. Not good. I really don't want a violent tornado going through a metroplex, but thankfully it's still an hour (or more) away from it.

Really cool that there is just a humongous radar hole in the dead center of Kansas. Might be the worst place for a radar hole.

Edit: Tilt 2 is downright nightmarish. That'll translate down to the ground soon. Gives us a good idea of what might unfortunately unfold soon.
