Severe Weather Threat June 15-23

Never thought I'd see the day. I always thought the drought would be broken by a tornado with a lot of coverage (like Mayfield, Greenfield, etc), and not one like Enderlin which mostly flew under the radar (figuratively, of course). Also didn't expect it to happen in North Dakota. But it did! Amazing to see the science at play here.

Yeah, really thought it would have to be a high-profile (one or more towns/cities devastated, numerous fatalities [not to dismiss the injuries and fatalities the Enderlin tornado did cause], many instances of violent damage over a long track) tornado that did it. But we've seen multiple instances of such (including the two you mentioned) and they were still rated EF4.
