Severe WX Severe Weather Threat April 7-10, 2021

I wonder if the Walker storm ran into a boundary, which caused the direction change. It was moving NE now it seems to be moving SE.
not a lot of forcing. Almost like summer thundershowers.

10% hatched TOR added in the most recent update for parts of MS/far SW AL because nighttime sig tors is a Southeast special

"..SOUTHERN MS INTO SOUTHWEST AL

HAVE EXPANDED THE MDT FARTHER SOUTHEAST INTO THIS REGION TO ACCOUNT
FOR BOTH WIDESPREAD DAMAGING WIND AND TORNADO THREAT LATE TONIGHT.
SOME POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR A FEW DISCRETE SUPERCELLS TO DEVELOP AHEAD
OF THE SQUALL LINE WHICH WOULD INCREASE THE THREAT OF SIGNIFICANT
TORNADOES DURING THE OVERNIGHT GIVEN EXPECTED SIZE OF LOW-LEVEL
HODOGRAPHS. "

Anyways, damaging winds are still likely to be the most widespread hazard.

We've got a tornado warning up here in Pittsylvania Co., just north of Danville. Not much going on this far north aside from a little rain and thunder.

Took some pics of a storm to my south earlier. Meanwhile, looked like a wedge on Brett Adair's stream a few minutes ago (east of Jackson, MS).
