Cell just southwest of St. Louis is tornado warned.

No surprise considering these storms are riding the boundary plus a little help from mesoscale interactions due to close spacing.

They become more diffuse over time, but early in their life you can see them on radar actually flowing away from the storm causing them.

You can sometimes spot where a boundary is sitting using surface obs looking for very slight differences in temperature or wind shift.

Got a friend in the warning, he said he saw rapidly moving clouds and may have seen a funnel.
