A pretty good indicator of the kind of environment that we're dealing with today.

Pretty solid hail core in that storm. Lots of room to work with right now, too. Nothing in the way that could take fuel away from it.

I don’t remember seeing that as an option before on the list of random hail size comparisons.

Only other time this happened was sometime back in 2022 I believe, and the watch was cancelled early.

I remember a storm near me (Alabama) having a lime size hale warning and for some reason laughing for a while over it
