Just waiting for the 5pm mesoscale analysis to see if the instability has dropped behind these storms or not.
Already over 54,000 feet. That blip south of Higgins, TX is just exploding.
You mean 44kft? 50kft+ is red on the default ET color table.Already over 54,000 feet.
Already SVR warned with a "considerable" tag. In the span of three or four scans. Unbelievable.

Only other time this happened was sometime back in 2022 I believe, and the watch was cancelled early.I again have nothing educated to say but had to comment on the friggin dvd size hail!!!???
I don’t remember seeing that as an option before on the list of random hail size comparisons.
I remember a storm near me (Alabama) having a lime size hale warning and for some reason laughing for a while over itOnly other time this happened was sometime back in 2022 I believe, and the watch was cancelled early.
That thing is NUTS.Reed has a great view of the wallcloud on the Windthorst , TX storm.
