Severe Weather Threat 5/19-5/22/2024

Estimated winds from VROT and TDS.
Reported is the wrong word. Estimated.

Not sure I follow. The fourth chart in the tweet (probability density function) actually suggests winds are far more likely to be under 200mph. The third chart denotes this tornado had a Vrot of 80kts, also not directly suggestive of 200mph.

I thought that said 190

I believe that means the only analog that his database could return was the Washington, IL tornado from 11.17.2013, which had estimated peak winds of 190mph.

Allegedly footage from Greenfield via Jason Parkin. Damage looks severe.

Just saw a chaser on Twitter complain they missed the Greenfield tornado about 10 minutes after it wiped out a town and I think I'm going to pull my hair out now.
Events like this make some people show their true colors. Some chasers are in it solely for the thrill, and for themselves. But I don't want to stray too off-topic now...
