we are now beginning to see the eastward push on radar the models have been showing. I think this is due to the dry air aloft pushing in...this cause the EML to build along with the low level instability.

Morning guys. I'll go ahead and activate live mode but we might have to disable it later on if the servers start to show signs of strain. So far we are doing really good on the larger webservers. That storm near atlanta is really impressive about 5k feet off the radar, and could tighten up in the suburbs. Quite worried about this one. @WesL Should this go ahead and go live?
Convection over north Georgia is now fully junk, nothing severe with it at this point..this looks like the in situ wedging that models were hinting at. Now the big question is how long it lasts..
The warm front is moving into North Georgia. Convection is also lifting North and East. Very warm/moist and unstable air is pouring North out of SRN/CNTL AL/SW GA. This was always forecast to happen. Not saying the warm front won't be slowed in NE GA...but it is currently progressing North.Convection over north Georgia is now fully junk, nothing severe with it at this point..this looks like the in situ wedging that models were hinting at. First tornado warning of the day near Carrollton, GA. That storm has a history of large hail. A lot of cars in Atlanta could have hail damage.
