There's a long train of cells stretching at least from Knox City, TX, to Electra, TX. I wouldn't be surprised if that area ends up under some kind of flood advisory later today.

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northern Baylor County in northern Texas...
Southeastern Foard County in northern Texas...
Knox County in northern Texas...
Southern Wilbarger County in northern Texas...

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 506 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2.5 to 5 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 inches are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Seymour, Munday, Knox City, Benjamin, Goree, Red Springs, Vera,
Lake Kemp, Mabelle, Rhineland, Grayback, Lake Diversion and
Harrold.

Getting do or die time for this event. Didn’t think we would have “too few storms” but once that front arrives it’s going to quickly push out a QLCS

I'm scratching my head just a tad, but, I'm thinking there may be some temporary a CINH issue then towards sunset, the cells really take off with some cooling above?
I maybe wrong here of course, but we'll see.
