Slightly off topic, but thinking of Analouges to this event, didn't the St. Louis Metro get an EF3 or EF4 during that period in 2011? I want to say it got overshadowed by everything else happening.

I believe you're right. There was a tornado that hit the STL airport that year.

Really, really, do not like the look of this. Reminds me of the early stages of a certain day that I won't name - not that the outcome will necessarily be the same. Either way EF2-3+ tornado threat continuing from N AR through SE MO into S/C IL overnight.

Particularly dangerous situation tornado watch just issued. Western Kentucky included throughout out the watch.
