The storms have slowed down as well....I've still not seen the sounding, have you? Anyone? Was there any difference?Anyone noticing the storms popping up ahead of the line SW of Tuscaloosa? Have to keep a close watch on those if they don't merge with the main line.
Do I need to bring my 4-wheeler and weed eater to help in the recovery? My basketball goal shifted slightly in the winds. #WeWillRecover
Do you need us to set up a GoFund me account for you?My basketball goal shifted slightly in the winds. #WeWillRecover
LOLOLOLOL...Lori, you and I think so much alike!
Lesson for today....if you're gonna have SW to SSW surface winds, need more westerly component in the mid levels and WNW in the upper levels. Just as I thought this morning, the unidirectional nature reduced curved inflows and coherent RFDs.The problem continues to be unidirectional flow. Discrete cells might have a downdraft/hail component but anything more is VERY low. You can see the flow in the lowest 1km is NOT conducive for tornadic storms at all.
NWS Paducah upgraded the Perryville, MO tornado to EF4. 180mph winds
