I'm quite unhappy and anxious about it! I'm missing a Christmas party because of it.

Don’t let this threat ruin your plans. The ingredients aren’t there for North Alabama to have significant tornadoes. While a quick spin up can’t be ruled out, this isn’t going to be an outbreak for our area. Just stay aware but nothing to be anxious about.

It doesn't matter if it's tornadic or not there is a lot of wind in that storm at that point.

it’s going to be interesting to see how/if the gulf coast convection inhibits the northward surge of instability into alabama.

katie mcgee out of nws huntsville does not think the atmosphere for north alabama will recover and i have to agree.
