I'm also watching between Coffeeville and Bruce for any potential wind threat

Wondering if the presence of VBV is playing any role in the organization/lack thereof some of the storms in/ahead of the QLCS. Notably, it doesn't always seem to get in the way of tornadogenesis, especially in the South, but might be part of the story, considering that otherwise the environment is fairly favorable, with ample instability and strong helicity. That said, would bet on some shenanigans in some part of MS before the day is over.

* At 506 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 17 miles south of Midway, or 45 miles
southeast of Winnfield, moving northeast at 50 mph.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or
destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will
occur. Tree damage is likely.
