Here's the damage right off my backporch along with the 3 rotation signatures as the line moved through
Me too. We had Christmas lights on the entire length of the backporch and out on our little deck as you can see in the picture. Those lights stayed on even after both trees fell and the damage done. We have people here now seeing if we have any roof leaksI'm sorry.Thankful though that it wasn't much worse!
We’re looking to buy a house soonish, and my husband keeps looking at Amory, Hatley, & Smithville. I keep finding every tiny thing I can wrong with the properties, and I’m normally the least picky person ever. . Our weather isn’t perfect here in northern Lowndes, but we aren’t as much of a tornado magnet as Monroe seems to be! That’s my main factor to saying no. LolMe too. Yeah. Exactly. I did some research with the North MS tornado database and put the total tornado count by county into a spreadsheet couple years ago. What I found didn't surprise me one bit. Both Lee and Monroe Counties have had 54 tornadoes each with a 4.5% average (or a reoccurrence rate as I read it). Lee and Monroe are the only 2 North MS counties with such high counts/high probabilistic average. We’re looking to buy a house soonish, and my husband keeps looking at Amory, Hatley, & Smithville.
