That cell is trying to ramp up some sort of broad circulation near Birmingham. It seems to be on some sort of boundary, so i guess with the LLJ kicking in, this is our little main tor threat for the time being. 60 mph damaging winds and a broad circulation currently

* Tornado Warning for...
North central Tuscaloosa County in west central Alabama...

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 720 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles south of Boley Springs, or 21 miles southwest
of Cordova, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
Bankhead Lock And Dam, Windham Springs, Whitson, and Wiley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
