They've kinda fallen apart. I'm not sure they're going to do much other than a cool lightning show.
These Low level Lapse rates are not looking nearly as strong as they were earlier.
I'd say they're holding their own for the time being. SPC maintains the 5% for eastern Iowa into southern Wisconsin overnight, although I'm not sure the extent to which I believe that given that we didn't clear out *at all* during the daylight hours. Any destabilization will have to result from rapid northward advection of warmer/moist surface air combined with cooling aloft. Not going to rule out the possibility after what we've already seen from this system, though.
