Severe Weather 3/4 - 3/8

It's fascinating (and I have to remain cognizant of this as a chaser, as it can produce hazardous straight-line winds as well as become a focal point for new cycles to spin up along it, as we saw with at least some of the Oklahoma tornadoes yesterday) how far away from the reflectivity "body" and hook of a supercell the RFD boundary can extend.

(Was going to post a GR Level 3 screenshot, but attachments still don't work). The upload progress bar sometimes just sits at 0%, sometimes goes to 100% but then just sits there for a while, then says "A server error occurred. Please try again later."

Looks like three cells have fired southwest of Des Moines, the start of our Iowa/Wisconsin overnight show. Nothing warned yet.

@Grand Poo Bah @GXSC

They've kinda fallen apart. I'm not sure they're going to do much other than a cool lightning show.

These Low level Lapse rates are not looking nearly as strong as they were earlier.

A bit curious about the Nebraska cells but I wouldn't be surprised if the NWS eliminates the northern 10%.

EDIT: Right as I posted this they did trim it down south. but brought the 10 up to Kansas.

DOUBLE EDIT: Also right as I posted this they released an MD saying that they're mostly elevated hailers.
