It's been OTG for at least 25 minutes now too, and the cell has nothing really in the way of it until the environment starts to deteriorate. This is not good at all

Didn’t expect a TORE today. Insane couplet on this storm. One of the signatures of the year!

This storm unfortunately doesn’t have anything in front of it to cause it to weaken so it could definitely keep going for a while. What an awful storm.

What in the - just decided to check in on Iowa just now and am met with one of the most violent-looking storms in recent memory. A truly tremendous velocity signature, and it'll be a very close miss on Essex, if not a head-on impact.
