You said houses got hit!
Can't be certain, but couplet and TDS were co-located just north of 140th Street just north of Essex, and there are houses on either side of Hwy. 59, where it also passed over. Radar at range can also skew the perceived location of a feature at the surface. Either way, I hope there's nothing in the way of casualties.

On a side note, the lightning with this storm is absolutely insane, and it's probably the craziest I have ever seen. It's similar to Rolling Fork as others have mentioned in this thread earlier.
 
Really compact, strong couplet now, but also getting far away so probably not sampling that close to the ground. As it's taken a northward jog, hopefully it'll die off, but an additional inflow notch is visible to its southeast, which may take over. Several towns to the north and east of this storm.
