Um, what? No thank you - do not want.
EXACTLY!My main issue is: There's skill in projecting an above/below average severe weather season for large areas, but there's essentially no skill in predicting exact tornado numbers for a given state.
You may be aware of it, but here is BMX’s database. It’s a good start for research. Or building a county by county spreadsheet.I had thought about doing the same spreadsheet with the North MS tornadoes by counties with Central Alabama, but the way Central Alabama's tornado list is setup, there's no way I can. Like with the North MS tornado database, you can search by year, by month, and by county
I'm not sure if this is what you are after, but there are 2 very good FREE radar websites which I mainly use on my laptop:I got a question for you guys, is there any good weather apps other than radarscope and radar omega for this upcoming tornado season?
Love that these options are available. Whenever I teach people about the ins and outs of actually utilizing radar data they feel like they've gained superpowers; I think it's a really powerful tool that we should teach more people to use.I'm not sure if this is what you are after, but there are 2 very good FREE radar websites which I mainly use on my laptop:
Quadweather (Pretty much exactly the same as RadarScope but completely free + they have 3D Storm Scans): https://radar.quadweather.com/
AtticRadar (Again, pretty much same as RadarScope but free): https://atticradar.steepatticstairs.net/
Oooo 3d storm scans sounds good to have.I'm not sure if this is what you are after, but there are 2 very good FREE radar websites which I mainly use on my laptop:
