Not used to a west coast severe wx event 3 hours behind me, ha.
I bet ! @CheeselandSkiesI do believe this is the first time I've pulled up any of the PNW region NEXRAD sites on my GR Level 3.
The svr WW doesn’t expire for another 4 hours lolI'm curious if we actually get any severe activity. Everything is just rain showers with an isolated thunderstorm northeast of Portland right now.
I understand that, but if you have rain throughout the WW area, it should greatly limit the severe weather chances due to the cooled air.The svr WW doesn’t expire for another 4 hours lol
If you bring up the Medford, OR radar, you might be interested in what looks like is trying to fire just north of Medford
Sometimes yes… sometimes no. Nothing is 100% until it happens. The weather is. It as simple as a lot of people think.I understand that, but if you have rain throughout the WW area, it should greatly limit the severe weather chances due to the cooled air.
It may produce and it may not….Still waiting….
Look man, my opinion is that due to all of the rain over the WW area has greatly deteriorated the chances for severe thunderstorms. Could a storm still hit severe criteria? Sure, it could, but I believe it's highly unlikely, due to all the rain that has kind of just sat over the WW area for the past few hours now. Temperatures across the region are in the mid to upper 50's. Fill free to disagree, but that's my take.It may produce and it may not….
