Unsurprised at this years Spring performance with the amount of general bullishness in the forecasts. This year was every bit as active as 2024 was, just in a different way. In 2024, the season was full of b**ts and underperformers until the end of April, when it just went full demon mode until June - incredibly hyperactive stretch there. This year was more well balanced, with at least 1 big outbreak occurring in each Spring month (3/14-15, 4/2, and 5/16) with some intermittent activity throughout. 2024’s Autumn season wasn’t too impressive though (outside of the random end-of-December big outbreak we got!) - we’ll see what 2025 does in that regard. May be the difference maker in which one beats out the other. At any rate, both these seasons are definitely future analogs you do not want to see.View attachment 44550
Time for the monthly LSR post. This month:
- Brought us above 2024 in LSRs as of June 25; second only to 2011 for obvious reasons
- Brought the total LSR count to 1,258
